Throughout my research for this collection, I focused closely on young women ages 17 through 27 in order to find the commonalities that this age group shares in terms of styling themselves. Through this process I found that comfort and easy styling was the key to attracting my target market. These aspects of style became most apparent through matching sets, high waisted bottoms, cropped tops, and white sneakers. Within my findings, it became apparent that young women often times struggle with knowing who they are when it comes to style. High waisted bottoms allows for the freedom to indulge, while maintaining our most confident features through pairing them with crop tops or bodysuits.

In order to complete the outfit, a pair of white sneakers keeps the feel of comfort while portraying a look of effortlessness. While for the more reserved women, adding these sneakers disguise the amount of time taken to style herself, while supporting a fashion forward aesthetic. It is clear that young women, including myself, have adopted these trends as not only our fashion go-to’s, but as our uniform. Overall, cropped tops, bodysuits, high waisted bottoms, and sneakers can work for nearly any occasion, as it keeps us looking fresh, comfortable and provides a sense of confidence.
